This Citroen C2 project show car of 2004 features awesome graphics and a Maxi wide arch body conversion. Cituning also opted for a sports front grille, chrono side skirts and a RS-R rear spoiler.

The lighting is another striking customisation and everything from new spotlamps, a quad headlamp conversion and smoked rear light clusters have been catered for.

Cituning Citroen Saxo S3 VTR Turbo

The styling upgrades for this Citroen S3 include a bumper set, splitter, spoiler, side skirts and spots. The bonnet is a Pro-Comp variety and that Black Headlamp Conversion and LED Rear Clusters ensure its unique profile either from the front or the rear. Its mirrors have been sourced from a BMW M5 and it also gets a single wiper conversion and alloy fuel cap. Prima Sport were the designated choice for the alloys, a 17” Anthracite version was elected while Toyo tyres were used to wrap them.

Inside the cabin there’s a Cobra Imola Drivers Fixed Seat and a Cobra Opus Passenger Recliner Seat with OMP 4 point harnesses. The rear seats and door cards were re-trimmed by Cobra in line with the front seat upgrades. The steering wheel also features suede and titanium and is the handiwork of OMP. The same firm also contributed a Mercury Red Gear Knob and Top F1 Grey Pedal Set. Cituning provided their own Red Dash Kit and this incorporated a dash mounted button for 2 Stage boost and water Injection.

On the performance front the Saxo benefitted from a stainless steel 4 Branch Manifold and Garret GT Turbocharger. It also has a 6 psi actuator. An intercooler, fifth Injector, 2 stage boost and water injection and dump valve were other souped-up treats. To accompany these were a 10 row cooler, remote oil filter kit, modified sump, heatshield, mounting brackets and hardware. Aeroquip were responsible for the oil cooler hoses, feed pipe and non-return valve. A stainless air inlet pipe and silicone hose connections also featured.

The Cituning Citroen Saxo S3 VTR Turbo was lowered by 50mms and provided with a WP Pro 6 Pot front and rear brake kit.

A Kenwood ICE install was another aftermarket addition which was installed especially for the French Car Show in May 2005.

Cituning Renault CLIO 16V J

This CLIO was registered in 1991 and was brought to Cituning in 2007 with 66,000 miles on the clock. The objective for the French car tuning specialist was to produce a hillclimb/track car beast. To this end a 2.0 Williams engine was fitted and Cituning also had a little play with the ECU which brought the power up to 190bhp. This performance upgrade was helped along by new cams, vernier pulleys, a modified head, Devil exhaust system and bottom end re-build. A new clutch was also deemed necessary. To ensure the temperature of the oil was kept optimum, a 10 row component was put in place alongside a new radiator.

A Koni suspension slammed that baby down to tarmac while the strut brace kept the Clio in check. The stopping power was then enhanced by Willwood 4 pot callipers, Brembo discs and Aeroquip brake lines.

To bling things up a bit some 16” gold alloys with Toyo tyres were enlisted. The body was then re-painted, a new headlamp kit was applied, a front splitter went on and new rear lights too.

In addition touches such as a new heater matrix, leather steering wheel, OMP seats and a boot-mounted battery were added. For more car accessories, you can click here.
